- Olivia Wilde is looking extra fierce these days!
- The 39-year-old Don’t Worry Darling director attended the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in the coolest ‘fit ever: A black leather bra top underneath an asymmetric white sheath. And damn, her abs are 🔥
- Wilde likes to keep her days busy simply by moving around in her day-to-day life. “…when you have an option to walk or take a car, walk if it’s an option. I’ll take the stairs,” she previously told CNBC.
Olivia Wilde has been seriously bringing it in the fashion department this year, and the Oscars were no exception. The Don’t Worry Darling director wore the coolest leather bra-top-and-white-dress combo to the Vanity Fair Oscars party, but she shared on Instagram that keeping her look spotless wasn’t super easy.
The 39-year-old actress dropped a photo in her Instagram Story that showed her standing up in…a party bus. “Thou shall not wrinkle,” she jokingly wrote over top. “So thou shalt stand your ass up in the party bus the entire drive and pretend not to fall over.”
She also shared various BTS videos and photos of herself getting ready, later joking that she “realized I was just wearing a bra” when she met Dune director Denis Villeneuve.
While Olivia’s look was everything, each photo and video showed off her next-level toned arms and abs. Olivia hasn’t given a ton of details on what she does to be so strong, but she’s been open about her push to keep moving during the day. “There’s often a way to [be active],” she previously told CNBC. “Rather than sitting at home and taking a call and doing a phone meeting, walk around. You could often incorporate activity into your life.”
Olivia has been spotted going on runs and seems to be into Peloton—she jokingly shared video of herself dressed as Dolly Parton while riding a stationary bike (and sipping white wine).
It doesn’t seem like that was an expensive prop. Olivia previously told Women’s Health that she digs spin classes. “I make fun of it, but it’s amazing,” she said. “You have to push yourself through this resistance, which is so therapeutic.”
Olivia told CNBC that she’s not really regimented with her workout routine, but she does walk everywhere. “We already walk more than people in a lot of other cities,” she said, of living in NYC. “But when you have an option to walk or take a car, walk if it’s an option. I’ll take the stairs.”
On the food front, Olivia told CNBC that she tries to eat well but says that “it’s all about balance.” “I think anyone who’s ever had even a small period of their life where they clean up their act—first begin to eat healthy food and exercise and use natural products—they’ll always say … I feel my best,” Wilde said. “But sometimes it’s hard to sustain that lifestyle. You know it’s tricky for anybody to stay totally clean.”
For her, that means trying to avoid processed foods, although she’s a big fan of Coca-Cola. “I really love it,” she said. Keep doing you, Olivia!
