The lights must’ve turned Ellie Goulding to stone, because her abs were rock hard in pics she posted on Instagram earlier this week. The singer was totally toned and confident in an all-green ensemble during a performance at The Grammy Museum.
The British singer performed some songs from her upcoming album, Higher Than Heaven, in an Alberta Ferretti lacy green bra, which she totally rocked, and emphasized her epic abs. The look was complete with matching see-through lace pants and a long silky coat.
“Thank you for my poison ivy green goddess outfit @albertaferrati โ ๏ธ๐,” Ellie wrote of her look in the caption. She totally does look like a goddess, and her fans agreed, too!
“STUNNING!!!!” One fan wrote in the comments. “Woowww!!!!! Our nature queen ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฟ,” wrote another. “YES! YOU’RE THE “GREEN GODDESS” ๐๐ฟ,” wrote one particularly adoring fan.
Her ‘fit truly was something else. I mean, check out the complete look:
So how does Ellie transform into the green goddess? On top of the outfit, the singer puts in a lot of time at the gym to achieve her look. She is very passionate about exercising. In fact, she released her own guidebook to achieving health in September 2021: Fitter. Calmer. Stronger.: A Mindful Approach to Exercise and Nutrition. Ellie wrote the book with assistance from health experts in her own lifeโincluding British adventurerAnt Middleton and Irish professional boxer Katie Taylor.
In 2021, Ellie said she loves boxing and trains with Faisal Abdalla, per Marie Claire, but she also trained with Joe Wicks early on in the COVID pandemic. Ellie also likes yoga and cult favorite Barry’s Bootcamp. Whatever she does, though, Ellie feels working out really improves her mental health.

“I feel so much better about myself when Iโve done a workout, even if itโs not hardcore. I just feel that endorphin release and that energy. I think itโs important to respect your body and to listen to it and to keep yourself agile, keep yourself moving,” she told Well and Good in 2017. “For me, itโs one of the most beneficial things you can do for your mental health.
Ellie has also admitted that she used to overdo it when it came to exercise. A few years back, she had to make conscious effort to cut back on her time spent at the gym, particularly on the treadmill, per Body and Soul. The star used the realization that she was becoming “imprisoned” by her fitness routine to start listening to what her body needed in a form of exercise.
“If I was feeling stressed, I would swap a run for a gentle yoga session, she told Body and Soul. “If I felt overwhelmed, I would go for a gentle jog in a park, focusing on breathing and keeping my pace slow.”
Overall, Ellie’s one exercise tip is “listen to your body,” per Body and Soul. Great advice. Thanks, Ellie!
