- Madonna just dropped a new photo on her Instagram Story, and she looks all kinds of strong.
- In the photo, the Queen of Pop showed off her super strong arms and legs in a lacy, black corset.
- Madonna says she goes hard in the gym and doesn’t believe in limitations.
Madonna is busy prepping for her upcoming Celebration world tour, but she took some time to present at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
“I’m here to give thanks to all the rebels out there forging a new path and taking the heat for all of it,” she said in her speech. “You guys need to know—all you troublemakers out there—you need to know that your fearlessness doesn’t go unnoticed. You are seen, you are heard; and most of all, you are appreciated.”
But the 64-year-old pop star ~also~ took a breather to casually drop a photo in her Instagram Story of herself in a lacy black corset with black bloomer-style bottoms. Her legs are super toned and her arms are strong as she gave the camera a look. “The age of Aquarius,” she wrote over the top of the photo.
Here’s the photo:
Madonna told Life & Style that she’s always had to put in consistent work to get mega-strong. The “Material Girl” told Newsweek that she likes to go hard at the gym. “It’s all in your head…It’s called will, it’s called no one’s gonna stop me,” she said. “How I stay in shape is I don’t believe in limitations.”
Madonna has done a ton of different workouts over the years, including circuit training, aerobics, dance fitness, and interval training, per Life & Style, but lately she seems really into Pilates and strength training.
In an Instagram post from 2021, Madge can be seen using a Reformer machine to work her thighs and butt, before doing arm pulls for her upper body. She also threw some dance moves into the mix, because Madonna.
Madonna works out with dancer, choreographer, and aerialist Marlyn Ortiz, doing a lot of foam rolling to stay loose and indoor cycling combined with resistance band workouts. She even joked that one session was “torture.”
Another one of her trainers, Craig Smith, previously told People that the two “focus on body weight training,” and that he “utilizes dance to tone the entire body, plus a mix of asana yoga, Bar Method and a lot of hybrid Pilates programs to give that nice, sleek look to her arms.”

Madonna works out six days a week “in a perfect week,” Smith said, and likes to mix things up for variety and to keep her interest. “Her body doesn’t plateau. It’s always in a guesswork state. Her body is always changing in a positive way,” he said. Among other things, the two use lighter weights to work on Madge’s arms. “We never go over 5 pounds,” Smith said. “The range is from 2 to 5 lbs.”
Madonna’s tour starts this summer—get excited!
