- Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, hit the red carpet at the 2023 Oscars looking as strong and in love as ever.
- In photos she shared to her Instagram feed, Kelly flaunted her toned body (and super-jacked arms) in a sheer, sleeveless dress.
- This star loves doing dance-based cardio workouts with Anna Kaiser in New York City.
When you have a look you love, you want people to know about it—and apparently Kelly Ripa was really feeling her Oscars dress. The 52-year-old star dedicated two Instagram posts to her ‘fit, along with plenty of behind-the-scenes shots of her prep work.
In case you missed it, Kelly opted for a sheer black dress with gorgeous black beading over black briefs and a black bra top. The dress was backless, and the whole thing showed off how next-level toned she is. Her back, arms, booty, legs, abs…everything were super strong. Kelly has definitely not been slacking on workouts lately.
“Mom and Dad attend the #oscars champagne carpets and caviar dreams🖤🖤,” she wrote over one series of photos of herself with husband Mark Consuelos. And of course, people freaked in the comments. “You guys are so hot 🔥,” wrote Brad Goreski, while someone else chimed in with this: “Can we take a moment to appreciate those arms tho 💪🏻💪🏻 #goals.”
Another video showed Kelly getting glammed for her big night:
Of course, Kelly made it clear in her Instagram Stories that she works hard to get super strong. She shared videos of herself doing a dance workout with her longtime trainer Anna Kaiser, writing “Final #workout before the Oscars,” noting that it was “minus one hour of sleep.”
The next video shows Kelly totally going for it in the dance studio, but she wrote over top that “one hour less really makes a difference.” Cut over to the next shot of Anna and Kelly dancing on their knees, followed by a series of RTs of people talking about how toned Kelly is. I mean, yeah…
Anna has led Kelly through dance-based high-intensity interval training classes for years. The trainer previously told Women’s Health that it’s a great combo. “The best thing about the marriage of dance and HIIT is that you’re moving on multiple planes of motion and you’re having fun,” she said. “You really need to focus on different types of muscular contractions and angles, not just on getting through exercises for the sake of feeling a burn. If you do the same motions over and over, you’re not going to get the full benefit.”
Kaiser also told WH that Kelly has “stayed consistent,” adding, “she’s been committed, it’s something that she does for her.”
Kelly previously shared that she follows an alkaline diet, which encourages foods that apparently work to keep your body’s pH levels low, and ultimately ends up resembling a vegan diet. “It has changed my life… I swear I think it’s responsible for me not being in pain,” she said on Live With Kelly and Ryan, per Good Housekeeping.

Kelly also shared in 2020 that she stopped drinking, per Delish. “They’re saying that Americans bought less wine last year. It’s the first drop in a quarter of a century,” she joked on her show at the time. “Now, I believe this is because I quit drinking, that I caused this dip. I have influenced the market.”
Keep doing you, Kelly!
