Halle Berry is seriously bringing the heat these days, and she is sharing a little peek into her fabulous life with her IG followers this week.
Halle, 56, dropped a view from her Sunday, and I must say, it looks lovely. In one photo, Halle appears to be lounging in bed, overlooking a truly incredible seaside view with her pup. Next up, you see the Catwoman star showing off a peek of her rock-hard abs in a black string bikini top.
“This feels right for a Sunday,” she captioned the post. And clearly, everyone was loving the weekend vibes Halle was giving off. “Trying to contain my envy ☀️,” wrote one follower. “Lookin Good 🥰,” another commented.
If you’re wondering how the actress stays in such strong shape, Women’s Health has all the answers on Halle’s health and wellness routines.
For starters, she shared that while filming her Netflix movie Bruised, she pretty much became a full-on fighter, training in all five versions of mixed martial arts. These are Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, tae kwon do, and kickboxing. She also started lifting heavier weights.
“I’m at my best when I have to work hard and when I’m facing challenges,” she said, adding the filming was “totally empowering.”
“To be the age I am and push my body to its limits reminded me that age is just a number,” Halle shared. “We can control how we define ourselves, and I’ve never been healthier and felt stronger. This movie helped me realize that.”
Even when she’s not filming for an intense role, she stays committed to her fitness regimen. In fact, she usually spends six days a week with a trainer, putting in hard work with Peter Lee Thomas. Together, they do sets of weighted lunges, stairs with weights, squats, and plyometrics. This can include jumps with weighted balls, sprawls, and Turkish get-ups. To keep her core strong, Halle does sit ups and crunches while hanging upside down. Casual!

“Only something severe even puts a dent in my abs,” she told WH. “I’ve had two children, so the skin is just looser there. So, I have to fill that area with muscle.”
When it comes to fueling up for all those intense workouts, Halle sticks to a low-carb, meat-based diet. And that’s partly because she was diagnosed with diabetes at age 19.
She usually starts her day with a mix of Bulletproof coffee, almond milk, ghee, protein powder, and collagen. For lunch, she’ll eat a lamb chop or rib eye paired with brussel sprouts, green beans, spinach, beets, or homemade cauliflower rice.
She eats her last meal at 6 p.m. (she does intermittent fasting), and usually that meal consists of a salad and protein.
Halle is not messing around! Seriously, inspiring!
